Don't fade away from memory...
As she remembers Martin... she doesn't forget him, his memories will never fade from her memories

And she remembers his death vividly, and in his memory swears that she would have no other.. and that she did.

These two had a thing going on, though it took trials to have them both realize it... but martin decided to keep it quiet for the moment, for despite all of sapphira's efforts, in the imperial eyes, she was just a commoner with some power in high places.... So whatever thing they would publicly annouce would be highly frowned upon and eventaully The high powers that be would force these two apart forever.

However despite all that......the night before the final battle (and forgive this fandom if something are out of place, its been 4 years since I so much as touched the game.) Sapphira and Martin have there first "time" together.
And ah, hell, it was coming long time anyhow by this reckoning >_>... But nonetheless....

Sapphira is then pregnant, though she doesn't find out until after martin's death, and secretly carries the last line of the dragon born.

She didn't want to reveal her son to be dragon born out of fear, and a very good fear at that, that Daegun would come hunting after her child to kill him...
Some would consider this a selfish call of Action, after all with the dragon fires remaining unlit and the empire plunging into chaos.. but overall it was the right desicion because that threat was very well real.

So... come 200 years later... when its on the sheer brink of chaos, comes Beomia, DRAGON BORN! From Skyrim :m

She herself doesn't know she's Septim main line blood until much later on...
